The raw material used is the fine thread from silkworm cocoons.

In a special process, the raw silk threads are braided and coated to make them water-repellent and resistant to serous secretions.

Silk is one of the non-absorbable suture materials of natural origin and has been used effectively in surgical procedures for centuries.

Used for ligatures/holding sutures/marking/oral and maxillofacial surgery/ophthalmology.
